Completely useless app that keeps crashing. The "solution" to make it not crash is to completely change the way I use my phone. The developers refuse to acknowledge they are the problem, even though (1) none of the other HSBC apps for other countries have the same issues and (2) there is a flood of feedback on Play store and other forums telling them how their rationales and workarounds don't make sense. Terrible experience.

The app was not able to load and keeps displaying an error message that says there is a potential security risk which I managed to find out is due to the built in features of my Google Pixel 9 pro, the shortcut accessibility menu. Not just for my phone, even Sony Xperia if I turn on the "Side sense bar", it will also trigger this error message in the HSBC app. The strange thing is that I also have DBS and Standard Chartered bank apps and there are no such issues.

Open app this morning. Displayed the login screen. Tapped on login options on screen, app have no response as if it doesn't detect my input. Reboot my phone twice. Same issue. update 24 Jun. uninstalled and reinstalled. still don't work. stuck at the first security page on agree to continue. No response from the app despite tapping on the button.
