I adore these Kairosoft story-style management sims, and Tropical Island Resort Story is no different. The graphics are very simple and super cute, but the game is quite intricate and more in-depth than one would ever suspect. It requires careful strategy to succeed but it is super satisfying when you do!

quite a nice game! was drawn in by the sea creatures mechanic, and ended up staying and finishing the first resort. i cant say that ive done the other two islands that i saw at the beginning though... my only real criticism is the fact that in the endgame, getting high scores in visitor popularity requires tightly packed stores and attractions, and by the end, a lot of my accomodations sort of... dont look that good. probably a skill issue tho lol

I'm still in the early stages of the game, but I'm enjoying it quite a lot! It's not causing any phone lag, loads quick, and the graphics are really cute. My only recommendation would be a feature added where we can earn money (slowly) while the game isn't running or a set amount earned based on time away.. nothing crazy! It eats up my battery pretty quickly, so I can't let my phone run it while I'm not using it for very long.
