I'm just not happy with either Xfinity app. Yes, there are two xfinity apps. Both apps are slow, buggy, and crash A LOT! And the best part... you have to have both apps if you have xfinity security. It says the xfinity app is your one-stop shop, but they're wrong. The xfinity app does things like camera area and a couple of other settings. Whilst the xfinity home app is the only one that can change states on the security system.

1 star. Using the old one was easy to manage and navigate. This one, you must sign in and even when you say to save your info on the device, it will ask you again to sign in. Have a question for the autobot? You need to sign in. Need to pay a bill? Sign in again. I don't know why the app was changed to this one however it is horrible. The UI is also clunky and not as visually pleasing as the original app. currently states needs an updated version, no update available? loops.

I am editing my review because with this last update, all I get when i open the app is that I need to update the app, so I click the ONLY thing I can, the "update" button and it brings me to the play store, which shows me I've already updated this app. I'm so close to canceling my entire xfinity accounts (cable, landline, internet and cell phone) because I can't get into the app & you can never talk to a live person when you call.
