Update: Issue fixed in a roundabout way. On the PCT. First time I used it on trail, the comments wouldn't load and/or update. Now I'm on the next map and 3 nights ago it crashed and now every time I close the window the program refuses to open. I have to uninstall and reinstall just to open it again. I have a Samsung S10

amazing app for the trails. the download function in advance is simple, and gives you all of the stuff you need when offline. mixture of map and profile view are a great combination, though it would be useful to have the ability to highlight 2 locations. GPS Tracking yourself works, although it does eat into your battery a little more if you do. would be good to have more details in there about shuttle companies to ease access in and out of locations. otherwise, excellent functionality.

I have a love-hate relationship w/ FarOut. When it works, I love it. GREAT for planning my section hikes of the AT. But the glitches & change from the full AT map to now sections is outweighing the positives. I've spoken via email w/ support w/ very little success to my questions. I even spoke in person at one of their booths; their knowledge of their own app is unacceptably low. I hate to be harsh. Currently, I can't even open my planned routes w/o it crashing. Re-downloaded. Nothing. So tired.

Hi Todd, Thank you for your FarOut love. Sorry about the hate part. At booths we often have non-employee helpers because we are overwhelmed at these events and we have a tiny staff and therefore cannot send a full team to these events. I assure you that we know how our product works. :)
