In order to be accurately named, the app should be called "Apple TV+" since you can only access the subscription-based content and not purchased shows/movies through the app. That makes the app fundamentally useless, because nobody uses Apple TV+ even after they finally, after 5 years from its initial launch, decided to begrudgingly support it on the remaining 60% of the phones in this world. I just want to watch my old iTunes stuff on my phone.

This app is mostly good, but is missing some key features. First, it won't allow you to watch on a TV connected via HDMI. Lame! It also won't respect your rotation preferences, or play in landscape when you go to full screen. Luckily, Android has a workaround button. I got & answered a text during an episode, and the app completely lost my place, putting me back where I started. I bet the iPhone version is light years ahead, but iOS in many ways is well behind. I hope this is updated soon.

When the app works, it's fine. But for whatever reason, I'm constantly logged out of it on my phone, have to go through several authentication steps each time, and once I'm in the app, it keeps telling me to start the free 7-day trial (which was already used) when I've already been paying for a subscription. The app also won't let me navigate to certain features a lot of the time, so I can't watch anything on my phone, and I can't even get to the page that allows me to cancel my subscription.
