About this app

Firefox Browser for Android is automatically private and incredibly fast. Thousands of online trackers are following you every day, collecting information about where you go online and slowing down your speed. Firefox blocks over 2000 of these trackers by default and there are ad blocker add-ons available if you want to customize your browser even more. With Firefox, you’ll get the security you deserve and the speed you need in a private, mobile browser.

FAST. PRIVATE. SAFE.
Firefox is faster than ever and gives you a powerful web browser that protects your privacy. Keep what’s personal private with Enhanced Tracking Protection, which automatically blocks over 2000 online trackers from invading your privacy. With Firefox, you don’t have to dig in your privacy settings, everything is set up automatically, but if you like to be in control, you can choose from the many ad blocker add-ons available for the browser. We designed Firefox with smart browsing features that let you take your privacy, passwords, and bookmarks with you safely wherever you go.

ENHANCED TRACKING PROTECTION AND PRIVACY CONTROL
Firefox gives you greater privacy protection while you’re on the web. Block third-party cookies and unwanted ads that follow you around the web with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Search in Private Browsing mode and you won’t be traced or tracked — your private browsing history is automatically erased when you're done.

BILLIONAIRE FREE FOR 20+ YEARS
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private browser with more customizable features than web browsers like Internet Explorer. Today, we are still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. Firefox still opens every link in a new tab. This is an ongoing issue with no way to change it. For people who use the browser intensively, you can end up endless tabs in an hour if you don't manly close each one.The best you can do is set it to clear the tabs after one day. Another commenter said that they're sharing data about location, which I don't want. I shut off location-sharing in Notifications, but want to make sure they are not sharing my location with third party. Is this verified?

It's now much noticeably faster. We can also organize our bookmarks, yay! Private browsing is also well done. Now the bad. The user friendly tabs are gone, it is now much more time intensive to organize and flip between them. Extensions are gone. I'm sure they'll resurface eventually as developers get onboard, but I'm already missing them. We can listen to audio with the screen off again without an add-on (provided it is not YouTube). Unfortunately, it cuts off after a couple of minutes

If you have any image open in a single tab. You get a white bar on the bottom or top , depending on where is your address bar. Basically full screen browsing is impossible. Edit 2024 : one star now. Before we had a single bar with address and tabs and settings. Now its two bars one in top with address and one on the bottom with the tabs and settings.... And no way to change it back to 1. Who decided this? Why can't we just keep it simple with one bar instead of two ??
