I used this(the stable version, that is) when it first came out. I wasn't impressed. It seems there's been some improvements since the last time I used it. I've only been using it for a couple hours, but it's seems to be running well. So I'll start the rating at 5★s, and I'll adjust it if warranted. A huge plus is the access to chrome://flags.. dark mode for websites. 😊

5 star for Desktop (Computer App) Private browser that seems to works well. Stops and Blocks trackers and the loading of lots of ads. Some Ads but not intrusive. I think it is fast in loading. Like in on my computer. Best not to enable browser extensions and just use the Brave Browser on your computer. I hate being tracked! Brave is a chrome browser. I am still working on the phone app and need to get use to where to find all the settings. It has its own security that only allows verified websites (https) to load to secure your search and "Brave Shields" for security too. Hopefully the phone app will work out as well as the desktop app. I will have to get back to you on that phone app rating.

I love both Brave browsers. My issue is bookmarks. They can't be backed up or imported/exported. Once, I uninstalled/re-installed the original version to fix a bug corrupting my Android device, likely thanks to unsafe site(s) while browsing. I lost all my bookmarks. Brave support groups discuss this, saying the problem rests with Google. Brave support also suggests one workaround. That is to sync my device with a computer. But what if someone no longer uses a computer? Otherwise, 5 stars.
