Installed on Samsung Android. Had no issues connecting to the lights via blue-tooth, was able to go thru the different colors, intensity and styles. My only problem is that I set the timer to go on and off (works fine) but after a day or so my times are all erased and go back to zeros. I don't see any setting to save them, just the OK button. Going to re-install, clear cache, setup again to see if that resolves it.

I love the different designs and timer functions. I ended up getting 4 sets of 3, 60" strips to put on my truck and motorcycle, none of the other rgb led strips nor neon rope lights I've come across so far even have a style option for different patterns I wish I could get a variety of lighting options that utilize this app I would definitely invest more towards it in that case.

Connecting issues: SOLVED (READ) Nearly all of the negative reviews are about not being able to connect the device to the app, even if your phone sees it on the Bluetooth menu. Mine never saw the device at all. Solution: open the App Info page and go to App Permissions. You need Bluetooth & nearby location with precise location turned on. Once they are on reopen to the app answer closing it and it'll be under My Devices now. Like this post so the next guy can see a solution also
