About this app

Periodic Table is the heart of the Chemistry as a subject and a hobby. And it is important to know your periodic table. This app will make your learning curve of elements, polyatomic ions, molar mass, and periodic table easier.

Periodic Table Tools is a free software for Android devices that includes a Standard Periodic Table and a Table of Commonly Used Polyatomic Ions.

New Features:
-New Periodic Table Quiz Game to help you memorize elements on the periodic table and track your improvements with performance dashboard

Application Features:

-Ability to select elements from the periodic table or polyatomic ions table to combine them to create a new chemical compounds. The program has integrated stoichiometry calculator that will perform element combination automatically.

-Detailed information about each element on the periodic table with high quality images and direct link to the their wikipedia page

-Molar Mass calculator with easy to use interface that will show step by step process

-List of commonly used formulas in Chemistry (Types of Chemical Reactions, Stoichiometry, Gas Laws, Solubility, Number of Moles, Yields, etc.)

The Periodic Table Tools is divided into three main sections. The first is the periodic table and polyatomic ions table. You can interact with the elements in a numerous ways as described above.
The next section is the Molar Mass Calculator which allows you to write any element, compound, or an expression of elements and compounds and it will calculate the molar mass.
And the last section is the commonly used formulas section that will come handy during your exam and test preparations.

The Periodic Table Tools team is focused on refining and delivering a supreme experience to the users. We will keep updating the app to get rid of any issues and improving the user experience

Its a really fun app with a lot of useful things. I had read before that you where working on trying to get it where it would zoom. Which would be extreemly helpful. I would recomend untill you do taking away the finish setting during game mode and making it a pause. My game was cut short a few times with me just trying to move around. that and maybe letting you choose how many seconds it gives you or have levels. I knew the elements and still had a hard time finishing.

Hi Nicole, thanks a lot for your feedback, I am happy to hear that! Yes, right at this moment I am finishing up the zoom feauture and I will update it tomorrow. And yes, I think that is a good idea to add pause mode for the game, but hopefully people won't cheat. And I will definitely make it customizable where you can select the seconds

Please change the timing on the games. I need to quiz myself for my chemistry exam but it only gives me 5 seconds to find the element and it takes almost 10 seconds to move the table around and look. Have an option for no timing or 20 seconds next time. Impossible to use and very irritating. Great concept, but lacked what I needed

Hi Monica, as per your request, I increased the time limit significantly and made the navigation easier. Would you take a moment and review it?

It is indeed a very good app but there are some things you may improve like- the metals in between the 'transition metals' in the left and the 'metalloids' in the right all fall under the category of 'post-transition metals' which in the app are given as 'metals' and the newly discovered element tennessine (atomic no.- 117) is predicted to be a 'halogen' but in the app it is given as a 'post-transition metal'.

Hey so I did some research on element 117 Ts, and it's actually predicted to be a post-transitional metal rather than Halogen. The other suggestion, group between metalloids and trans-metals are indeed post-trans metals; however, there are differences between actual post-trans metals and just metals so they are indeed separate. Thanks for helping!

What’s new

* Video about each element
* Quiz difficulty level is adjusted
* Zoom Feature (+/-)
* UI update
* Search update
* Updated Navigation
* Bugs Fixed. Hopefully new ones won't pop up, but I am ready for them
